Here we have 1,500 inmates from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) performing a Michael Jackson tribute. The clip was completed 10 hours after his death. These videos made by CPDRC were originally created back in 2007 by the prison’s chief, Byron F. Garcia. Garcia first conceived the idea of exercising as an enjoyable way of keeping the prisoners mentally and physically fit. In the original videos the convicts marched and danced to several songs, including Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”.

Pop icon Michael Jackson (50) was rushed to the hospital this afternoon from his Bel-air rental home. When the paramedics arrived they said he was not breathing and it is believed he had suffered from cardiac arrest. Jackson still remains at the hospital until further notice. He was scheduled to do 50 shows at London’s O2 Arena. Read more updates at TMZ.
UPDATE: Michael Jackson has died at the age of 50. RIP Mike you will be forever missed.
